Women’s Euro 2025: Quarter-finals fixtures and results as England keep title defence alive

The Euro 2025 quarter-finals is starting to take shape.

Spain, led by two-time Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati are the favourites to lift the trophy at the end of the month, and they have been impressive so far. Winning all three of their group fixtures to top the table and will now face host nation Switzerland in the knockout phase.

Norway also boast an 100 per cent winning record, their reward for topping Group A is a showdown with Italy on Wednesday after Le Azzure pipped Belgium to the runners-up spot in Group B.

The two remaining quarter-final ties will be confirmed on Sunday and there could be a repeat of the 2022 final if England Group D to set up a showdown against Germany. Though this scenario is unlikely because of how events unfolded on matchday one.

Wales could still qualify for the knockout phase but a mini-miracle is required when they take on the Lionesses.
